A Commentary" is the Polish publishing market's first collection of such volume to feature commentaries on decisions in tax cases issued by the Court of Justice of the European Union including not only rulings which are groundbreaking in terms of application of tax law, but also containing the contents of significant CJEU rulings, so far unavailable in the Polish language.

    JP Weber lawyers have successfully represented its Client in a litigation instigated by its former employee who has also been a Trade Union activist. The District Court in Wrocław dismissed the claim in its entirety. The judgment has to be regarded as a landmark.

  • Analysis of the Wrocław Agglomeration's attractiveness to investors – a project carried out by JP Weber


    Together with Jarosław Ignacy, PhD, JP Weber is participating in the newest edition of the "Mozart" program, under which it is carrying out a project whose purpose is an analysis of the Wrocław Agglomeration administrative districts' attractiveness in terms of investment. The project has been positively verified and approved, thus obtaining a subsidy from Wrocław's local government.

    Mrs Katarzyna Styrna-Bartman PhD, having defended in public her doctoral thesis entitled „Das polnische Verwaltungsverfahrensrecht im Lichte der europäischen Verwaltungsstandards. Eine Studie unter Berücksichtigung der Vorschriften auf dem Gebiet des europäischen und polnischen Verwaltungsverfahrensrechts und der Rechtsprechung der europäischen und polnischen Gerichte“ (Eng.: Polish administrative proceedings in the light of European standards. An analysis on the basis of Polish and European administrative proceedings as well as Polish and European courts' judicature), obtained the title of Doctor of Law (Ger.: Doktor der Rechte).

  • Invest in Wroclaw – a new support initiative for foreign investors


    As a result of JP Weber's and the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency's joint effort, a new online service called Invest in Wroclaw was launched on October 30th 2013. The Invest in Wroclaw initiative is dedicated to foreign investors planning to run their business operations in Poland, and specifically in the Wrocław region.
