JP Weber advised Grenevia Group on the acquisition of Total Wind PL.

Grenevia Group S.A. has acquired a stake of approx. 75% of shares in the share capital of Total Wind PL. The acquisition of Total Wind PL is an important step in the diversification of the FAMUR segment, which in the Grenevia Group brings together technologies, products and services for the mining and wind energy sectors.

Grenevia S.A is a Polish group that integrates and develops activities in four business segments, including large-scale photovoltaics and PV solutions for business, battery systems, energy storage and electromobility, state-of-the-art equipment in the area of automation for industry and solutions for the energy distribution sector, as well as technologies and products for the mining and wind energy sector within FAMUR.

JP Weber's transaction team of Piotr Dalak, Paweł Nowakowski and Zbigniew Głuchowski supported the Grenevia Group as financial transaction advisor.

FAMUR, which is one of the four business segments of the Grenevia Group, is consistently building its position in the renewable energy sources (RES) sector. The acquisition of Total Wind PL will complement FAMUR's competences in the area of solutions and services for the wind sector. FAMUR has been present in the wind energy sector since 2022.

According to data provided in stock exchange reports, the total capacity of the Grenevia Group's photovoltaic (PV), energy storage and wind farm projects with connection conditions obtained has reached 1.3 GW. In the onshore wind farm sector, the group plans to develop wind projects with a total capacity of 170 MW.

Total Wind PL specialises in the installation, service and maintenance of wind turbines, as well as the service and replacement of major components for key turbine manufacturers. In 2022. Total Wind PL reported PLN 36.3 million (€8.1 million) in revenue, 90% of which comes from its activities in foreign markets. The company has projects in 10 countries. At the end of 2022. Total Wind PL had 100 employees. The company has 18 years of experience and has installed more than 1,000 wind turbines since its inception.
