WOOD & Company Waste Management Fund is the owner of KOSIT Group, a company that provides waste management services for the municipal sector, along with comprehensive solutions for industrial and commercial clients. In addition to operating a waste-to-energy (WtE) plant in Koszyce and a biogas facility for organic waste recycling, KOSIT runs several waste processing sites in Slovakia and employs over 1,300 people.
Entering the Polish market represents an important step for the investor in implementing its growth strategy in Central Europe and pursuing investments in modern technologies within the waste management sector. The goal is to maximize synergies between both companies. The new owner will continue to closely cooperate with the original shareholder, who retains a 10% stake in the company, to guide its further development.
